This 2,602 square foot tenant improvement project involved the conversion of an existing commercial building into a z Pizza restaurant in Sacramento, California. The build-out reconfigured the interior to support an efficient quick-service pizza concept, integrating customer ordering, food preparation, and dining areas within a functional and brand-aligned layout.
Scope began with selective demolition, sawcutting and concrete patch back, followed by rough carpentry, roof patching, insulation, and installation of new doors, hardware, and storefront glass systems. Interior construction included drywall and metal stud framing, acoustical ceiling tile, ceramic tile, stained concrete, resilient flooring and base, and full interior painting. Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire sprinkler systems were upgraded to support commercial kitchen operations, with coordinated HVAC improvements and a complete electrical lighting package. Multiple change orders addressed storefront revisions, low voltage systems, additional lighting, drywall enhancements, and HVAC change-out to meet operational and franchise requirements.
The project was delivered with disciplined coordination and quality control, resulting in a modern, high-performance restaurant space ready for customer service.
