Project Overview

The Boulevard is a 31,325-square-foot ground-up commercial project in Sacramento’s urban core, designed to deliver a modern retail and restaurant experience across 3.12 acres. Spanning two buildings, this contemporary commercial space includes 31,325 square feet of high-end retail positioned at one of the city’s busiest intersections. Stuart James Construction managed all structural and architectural components, including building concrete, reinforcing steel, stone veneer, custom steel and aluminum awnings, and complex framing with Longboard siding and decking. Interior work featured high-end storefront glass systems, overhead glass doors, and fully integrated mechanical and life safety systems to support diverse tenant needs.

Through precision coordination and uncompromising craftsmanship, we delivered a vibrant, ground-up urban construction project that elevates both functionality and design. This project reflects our ability to execute complex retail and office construction with clarity and partnership, creating lasting value in Sacramento’s evolving commercial landscape.

Demolition of existing parking lot and full site development for three future retail buildings. Work included mass grading, joint trench coordination with AT&T, Comcast, PG&E, and SMUD, comprehensive underground utilities, erosion control, site lighting, and off site work with encroachment permits and traffic control.

1,824 square foot interior renovation converting a vacant retail space into a Poke Noke restaurant with full kitchen build-out and new storefront installation.
