Promenade Children’s Play Area

The Promenade Children’s Play Area at Westfield Galleria at Roseville was developed to introduce a durable, visually cohesive, and family-focused amenity within the shopping center’s primary pedestrian corridor. The project was driven by a comprehensive finish and site furnishing upgrade designed to enhance safety, longevity, and aesthetic integration with the existing promenade environment.

Construction included selective demolition, relocation of site elements, and installation of new concrete paving, precast concrete unit pavers, and resilient safety surfacing specifically engineered for active play. New play equipment, musical play features, benches, lighting fixtures, handrails, and stone veneer elements were installed to create an engaging and accessible outdoor play space. Extensive underground utility work supported drainage, electrical, data, and future kiosk infrastructure, ensuring long term flexibility for mall operations.

The completed play area enhances the Westfield Galleria experience by providing a thoughtfully constructed shopping mall amenity that supports family engagement and extended visitor dwell time.
