This ground-up retail development delivered a 75,190-square-foot grocery-anchored shopping center at the Plaza at Blue Oaks in Roseville, California. The project included a 39,000 square foot Raley’s O-N-E Market and six adjacent retail shop shells totaling 30,190 square feet, all constructed as part of a coordinated, master planned development serving West Roseville’s expanding residential base. The owner’s objective was to deliver a high-performance grocery anchor, supported by flexible retail shells that accommodate future tenants while maintaining cohesive site circulation and long-term operational efficiency.
The project team managed all phases of construction, including comprehensive sitework, underground utilities, structural framing, and complete mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The Raley’s O-N-E Market was constructed with advanced refrigeration infrastructure, energy-efficient building systems, and premium interior finishes, while the six retail shop shells were delivered to code-compliant warm shell standards. Multiple buildings were sequenced concurrently, requiring disciplined coordination of civil operations, vertical construction, utility tie-ins, and inspections under a demanding schedule.
Through proactive planning, phased execution, and close collaboration with the owner and design team, the project was delivered on schedule, demonstrating expertise in grocery-anchored retail construction and complex multi-building developments.
