This 10,000 sf ground-up retail construction project delivered a modern shop building and comprehensive site improvements for Fair Oaks Promenade on a 1.03-acre site. The owner’s goal was to create a vibrant retail cluster with high-quality shells ready for restaurants and specialty tenants while meeting Sacramento County design guidelines and oak tree mitigation requirements. Stuart James Construction managed structural framing for single-story wood-frame buildings, utility installations, including underground electrical, plumbing, and drainage systems, parking lot construction, access roads, and off-site roadway and drainage improvements. Through phased scheduling and proactive coordination with county inspectors and environmental consultants, we delivered a functional and visually cohesive retail environment on time.
