Papa Murphy’s Take and Bake

This 1,500 square foot tenant improvement project involved the remodel of an existing retail space into a Papa Murphy’s Take N’ Bake pizza store in Sacramento, California. As a take-and-bake concept with no on-site cooking for sale, the build-out focused on efficient food preparation areas, customer service flow, and code-compliant health and safety systems tailored to a quick-service restaurant environment.

Scope included sawcutting and concrete pourback, new framing and drywall, insulation, acoustical ceilings, doors and hardware, and finish carpentry. Interior finishes incorporated ceramic tile, FRP wall panels, painting, and installation of toilet accessories. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems were upgraded to support new prep equipment and plumbing fixtures, including rough-ins, fire sprinklers, HVAC, electrical distribution, and fire alarm integration. Equipment installation was carefully coordinated to align with franchise standards and operational requirements.

The project was delivered under disciplined schedule management to ensure timely turnover, resulting in a clean, functional, and brand-aligned quick-service restaurant space ready for customer occupancy.
