Project Overview

This project consisted of a comprehensive tenant improvement for a Jos A. Bank retail location in Sacramento. Scope included soft and hard demolition, asbestos abatement, and site work, including asphalt patching, striping, signage, and landscape repairs, to prepare the site for redevelopment. Structural and building envelope work included concrete and reinforcing steel, brick veneer, structural steel, rough carpentry, and installation of a new single-ply roofing system with associated sheet metal flashing and joint sealants.

Exterior upgrades incorporated new storefront glazing, doors and frames, Portland cement plaster, exterior painting, and fabric awnings to modernize the building façade. The project was delivered using a design-build approach for plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems, allowing for efficient coordination of MEP upgrades and fire alarm integration. Safety and code-compliance elements included fire extinguishers and Knox Box installations. The completed project delivered a refreshed standalone retail facility aligned with brand standards and current building requirements.
