This renovation transformed an existing vacant grocery store into a modern, full-service Nugget Market while contributing to the revitalization of the surrounding shopping center in Granite Bay. The project included a comprehensive interior reconfiguration featuring a new full-service meat department, a commercial kitchen, a bakery, a deli, and coffee preparation areas, upgraded refrigeration systems, and expanded warehouse and storage space. A new 1,152 square foot mezzanine with stairs and elevator access was constructed to support customer seating and office use, along with new HVAC and lighting systems throughout the sales floor and altered areas.

Exterior improvements enhanced both architectural character and pedestrian experience through restored brick veneer, new peaked entry roofs, updated storefront glazing, decorative murals, new hardscape elements, and accessibility upgrades to walkways and parking. Stuart James Construction coordinated complex interior renovations and exterior upgrades while maintaining operational clarity, delivering a revitalized grocery destination that now serves as a community anchor for Granite Bay.
